Biography

Jon de Vaal started playing piano at the age of seven in 1967. At age 25 he started playing solo piano professionally on weekends. In 1988 he started (and still is to this day) playing professionally full time. In the late nineties Jon formed the Jon de Vaal Trio.

He has now played piano professionally for over twenty years. Jon has hundreds of songs (standards and show tunes) in his head and usually can modulate those songs to any one of the twelve keys instantly. Because he is a repository of sorts for so many songs, he can easily play most any request that a patron may have. This makes him a good resource for vocalists (professional or amateur). Jon is professional, responsible and has an extremely gracious and easy-going manner, making him an asset to any establishment where he plays.

Jon has played at numerous hotels, clubs and restaurants in and around the Twin Cities. Past experience includes:
